Join Real Pilates owner, Alycea Ungaro for a weekly group class devoted to teachers. Spend an hour a week indulging your body with other practitioners in a truly non-competitive environment.  Schedule varies throughout the year.

Spend a week at Real Pilates under the tutelage of Alycea Ungaro, P.T. and her stellar team of Pilates professionals. No matter where you have received your certification, this week long Continuing Education event will inspire you to fall in love with Pilates all over again.

For five days, ten select participants will experience a unique training experience designed to reinvigorate your teaching, infuse your technique and inspire you to a whole other level of teaching.

Meeting each afternoon, for 4 hours each day, participants will undergo a combination of:

• Private Sessions
• Group Classes - Daily
• Special Workshops Daily
• Repertory Drills
• Guest Teachers
• Special Field Trips

Learn. Discover ghost of original Pilates material from Mat to Reformer and equipment you’ve likely never seen before, including the Guillotine, Baby Arm Chair and more. Fill in the gaps in your training. Find the missing pieces in your personal toolbox.

Experience. Bring your verbal commands to a new level. Identify your natural strengths as a teacher – learn to amplify your abilities and develop your weaknesses. Learn to “see” a new way.

Work. Hit the mat and more! Exercise your heart out! Remember that this week is for you, the teacher to work on your own issues and challenges. All participants specific needs will be addressed.

Study. Materials will be provided to help you retain and integrate the work we cover.Teachers will return home with reference material they can refer to over and over again.

Practice. The Real Pilates studio is your playground! Finally have time and space to review material on any apparatus you desire!

This course is designed to be an intimate and intense learning environment and therefore enrollment is by application. Teachers with Comprehensive Certification are invited to apply. Assistance with accomodations and reservations is available.

Show up and teach. No scheduling or administrative tasks required. We ask for 20 hours a week in order to fill your schedule with committed clients.
